Spreading the word

This is a new experience for us all.

Everyone will have a new FAFSA for 2024-25. Along with the new form, there will be a new process and a new need analysis formula. In other words, an all-new experience for both students and professionals alike.

Financial aid professionals already have a lot of knowledge about the new FAFSA, but more information is still to come and processing the 2024-25 FAFSA will, no doubt, be a learning experience.

Incoming freshmen are starting fresh with the new FAFSA. Information is being shared with high school seniors, but they will be learning about the FAFSA along with everyone.

And finally, there’s returning students, those who have completed the FAFSA in the past and may not be aware that completing a 2024-25 FAFSA will be different.

While there’s been a lot of 2024-25 FAFSA materials published for professionals and for incoming students, there’s not so much for current college students. (The Department of Education will conduct an outreach campaign.)

To help you communicate with your current college students about what they may experience, Mapping Your Future has created a "Renewing Your FAFSA for 2024-25" flyer.

The flyer may be customized with the Mapping Your Future logo and copyright remaining intact. If you have any questions or comments, contact the Mapping Your Future staff.
