If you find yourself stuck at the office while everyone else is out on holiday, one way to deal with it is to embrace the quiet.

And while you are embracing the quiet time, you could advance your career by taking some online training.

Federal Student Aid (FSA) recently announced two training opportunities:

  • The Top Compliance Findings Learning Track has been updated to reflect the latest top ten audit and program review findings issued for Fiscal Year 2022. According to FSA, participants will learn common causes and solutions for each finding and complete practical exercises for application to their own school.
  • The borrower defense school notification and adjudication process is now explained in a new training video. FSA said the video discusses the separate recoupment process, which includes its own notification and response components, if ED approves.

To access either training, log in to the FSA Training Center at fsatraining.ed.gov. For the Compliance Findings learning track, select “Learning Tracks” from the black main menu bar and then “School Eligibility.” For the Borrower Defense training video, select “Systems Training” from the black main menu bar and then “Borrower Defense.”

Questions about the training should be emailed to helpdesk.fsatraining@ed.gov.
