Important new volume in the FSA Handbook series now available

For those collectors of financial aid reading materials, the latest volumes of the 2024-2025 Federal Student Aid Handbook have been released by the Department of Education.
In a February 28 Electronic Announcement, the Department announced the availability of Volumes 1 and 7:
- Volume 1 – Student Eligibility discussed the eligibility requirements for student and parent borrowers and the responsibilities of financial aid professionals to ensure that recipients qualify for their aid awards.
- Volume 7 – The Federal Pell Grant Program provides information to assist schools in determining student eligibility and calculating Federal Pell Grants.
The Federal Student Aid Handbook consists of the Application and Verification Guide, six numbered volumes, and appendices. Each volume and appendix are posted on Federal Student Aid’s Knowledge Center.
